The Lions finished off the Majors with two more goals from Green, and another from junior Spencer Ortiz to win the game 12-10.
Although the Lions got off to a slow start, they were still victorious at the end of the day: “We played really sloppy. I feel like we could have beat them by a lot more, but the fact that we still got the victory at home is a good feeling,” said Axley.
“You gotta feel happy about a win. They all count the same whether its by 2 or 22,” said Head Coach Pete Manderano.
