A new dining option is making its way to downtown Demorest as Bangkok Bistro Thai Restaurant prepares to open its doors on Georgia Street. The restaurant has taken over the former Sweet Breads location, offering a welcoming atmosphere and authentic Thai cuisine.

Bangkok Bistro’s menu features a variety of Thai favorites, including fried rice, noodle dishes and sushi rolls. In addition, the restaurant will offer desserts and a specialty cocktail menu for guests 21 and older. The full menu can be found on the restaurant’s social media pages.

The restaurant also offers options for spice level, as Bangkok Bistro aims to offer a wide range of tastes, welcoming both longtime fans of Thai food and those experiencing it for the first time.

The opening of Bangkok Bistro adds another local dining option in Demorest and provides a new place for residents and college students. Its downtown location makes it an easy spot for meals, group outings and special occasions.

“Bangkok Bistro is excited to be bringing authentic Thai and sushi to downtown Demorest. We are aiming to have our grand opening soon and cannot wait to have everyone come enjoy the amazing food,” said Kate Sanderlin, a server at the restaurant.
