On Monday, Nov. 10, Patriot’s of Piedmont honored troops on Veteran’s Day by creating a “Wall of Honor“ in the Nielson Dining Hall. The wall was created to honor friends and family members who have served or are currently serving in the military. The organization collected copies of the troops military picture, their name, rank, branch and whether or not they were a graduate of Piedmont. All faculty, staff and students were welcome to submit as many photographs as they liked. Senior mass communications major Shelby Whitehouse, who is also the Co-President of Patriots of Piedmont said, “I have family in the military, and my boyfriend is also in the military. We just wanted to honor those people for what they’ve done for us.“
