The second annual Piedmont Educator Renewal Conference was held on Saturday, March 15 in the Swanson Center. According to Tiffany Collins, School of Education administrative assistant, over 130 local educators, as well as Piedmont students and staff were in attendance. The day began with opening remarks from Dean of Education Donald Gnecco, who presented the Friend of Education award to former dean Jane McFerrin (top left), followed by Doc Johnson’s Miracle Medicine Show, presented by Professor of Theatre Henry Johnson (bottom right). Attendees participated in workshops throughout the day (top right, bottom left). “We asked the whole college to help,” said Collins. “We’re looking forward to PERC 2015.”
