Piedmont’s new years resolution can be summarized in one word: advancement, and a new team is being developed to ensure this resolution becomes a reality.
Current Communications Specialist and Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement, Adam Martin, has been promoted to Project Manager. Martin has a year of experience working with the Institutional Advancement team at Piedmont.
Tiffany Long will be moving to join the team alongside Martin, and will take on the role of Development Officer and Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement. Long’s new responsibilities at Piedmont will include managing the annual fund that will allow the institution to grow and develop in addition to new administrative responsibilities as the assistant to the Vice President.
Terrie Ellerbee will also be joining the ranks as Admissions and Parent Communications Specialist, and will focus on developing enrollment through the use of parent-focused content. As a part of the Piedmont staff, she will create effective content for the college’s printed publications, websites, newsletters and other platforms.
The final person to join the Advancement team is Katie Deal, who has been named Director of Alumni Engagement and Development who worked at the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at Piedmont from 2011-2012.
“These changes will elevate our fundraising and alumni programming as we invigorate Lions Share,” said Craig Rogers, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “They will also expand our communications capabilities, helping us to spread good news about our thriving institution.”
