On October 5, 2017, Piedmont College will host one of the most prestigious and well-known choral groups in the world. The world-renowned male choral group “Chanticleer” will be performing in the Piedmont College Chapel. 

Chanticleer has sold well over a million albums and has won two Grammy awards. Based out of the Bay Area in San Francisco, California, the all-male choir has performed for audiences across the world. This will be Chanticleer’s first performance at Piedmont College. 

Many students are ecstatic about the choir’s arrival. Seeing such a well-known group perform so close to home is a rare occasion. 

“I’m pretty excited that a group as renowned as Chanticleer is coming to our college,” said Brandon Fox, a junior music and musical theatre double major. “I’ve never experienced a concert quite like theirs, so not only will it be a new experience for Piedmont as a whole, but for me as well.” 

Tickets for the Chanticleer concert are selling for $25 per person. With such high-caliber artists coming to Piedmont, tickets for the event are expected to sell out quickly.
