
With just seven weeks left in the semester, the culmination of five months of hard work will come to a head across multiple dates. Here’s the schedule:
(All performances below are held in the Piedmont Chapel.)
Nov. 7, 8-9 p.m., GMTA Conference Headliner Recitalist Spencer Myer, Piano
Nov. 13, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Piedmont University Singers
Nov. 18, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Piedmont University String Orchestra
Nov. 20, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Piedmont University Wind Ensemble
Dec. 5 and 6, 7:30-8:30 p.m., 37th Annual Lessons and Carols
Alongside all these events, Piedmont University’s musical theater department will be performing their production of Godspell, with five shows on four separate dates:
Nov. 6,7 and 8, 7:30-9:30 p.m., Swanson Center for Performing Arts & Communications
Nov. 9, 2-4 p.m., Swanson Center for Performing Arts & Communications
Here at Piedmont, 20% of undergraduates participate in music ensembles and performances, per piedmont.edu, and there are 40 total concerts and recitals throughout the academic year.
