The fall semester is kicking off, and students have been in the cafeteria to get the food that will energize them for their classes. The Roar spoke to a few students about what food in the cafeteria got them excited the most and what was their favorite food to eat in the cafeteria.
Cescily King, freshman, film major:
- “I would say the food that I get most excited for is definitely the waffle fries.”
- “For my favorite food in the cafe, I would say the cookies.”
Livingstone Jenkins, freshman, music performance major:
- “Basically spicy chicken, the burgers, the fries, most definitely. And the deserts, all the deserts,”
- “The chicken or the pasta, the pasta is really good”
Brandon Philpot, sophomore, nursing major:
- “The burgers and fries and also the pasta”
- “I gotta go with the fries and the chicken nuggets”
Julian Ortega, junior, accounting and business management in finance major:
- “Just mainly protein is what I usually go for”
- “My favorite meal though would be their mac and cheese”
