The food pantry is a popular destination for Piedmont University students in Lane Hall. Students have the privilege to grab any needs they desire.
Students at Piedmont are always welcome at the campus’s food pantry.
“It’s essential because I know there are a lot of students on campus who don’t have a car,” senior Paige Kluba said.
The food pantry offers a variety of options, including detergents, necessities, freezer goods and more. The food pantry is also great for athletes who get home late from practice and events. If the cafeteria is closed, anyone is welcome to stop by to get whatever they need.
Others stop by the food pantry if they are short on finances, do not have a way to travel, or even if they just need a snack.
“I’ve heard consistently that once they restock it, a few days later, it’s pretty much depleted,” said Kluba, describing the stock in the food pantry.
Kluba had the opportunity to visit the food pantry last semester and hopes it will gain more recognition for its benefits.
The food pantry is located in the Lane Student Center to the right of the entrance, near the Student Success Center and Arrendale Library.
