Every year, Piedmont hosts a disaster drill, which serves as an educational exercise for students and training for local law enforcement.
This year’s scenario was a school shooting scenario at the baseball field. Complete with actors, nurses and high schoolers acting as bystanders, the event included a lot of moving parts.
Notable groups included representatives from Now Habersham, The Northeast Georgian and local federal agencies.
