It is with heavy hearts–but also ecstatic optimism and solidarity–we share that recently, our Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Science, Dr. Jaime Johnson-Huff, was diagnosed with cancer. As she begins the battle through the first rounds of treatment, Piedmont is here to let her know we stand behind her!
With a diagnosis such as cancer, there come many personal and medical expenses suddenly imposed upon an individual. To offer some relief from such burdensome costs, Piedmont has designed a special T-shirt representing support for Dean Huff during her fight. These shirts are purchasable for $25, in which all proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to Dean Huff to assist her with expenses.
The shirts are available in two different colors and all adult sizes. When ordering a tee, “store pickup” and “shipping” are delivery options. Professor Haley Barnett will bulk pick-up tees that will be distributed for those who choose “store-pickup”. Choosing the “shipping” option will ship the shirt directly to the address the buyer provides.
Piedmont University students can use the discount code STUDENT5 to get a shirt for $20. The deadline for purchasing shirts is Tuesday, April 15.
