The men’s lacrosse team ended their 2024 season with an overall record of 14-3 and conference wins of 7-1. The 14 wins from last season made a program record for the third consecutive season. This year the men’s team is looking towards another great season. Their record currently is 5-3, and the team is hoping to have more wins under their belt this year.
“We have taken some tough losses to some good teams but we are rebounding well and starting off conference play on the right foot,” said junior goalie Mike Eisele. “We still have our goal of winning the conference championship right in front of us so we just have to keep working hard and it’s ours for the taking.”

The women’s team had a competitive season, and hope to do the same in this conference season. Amanda Barrett, junior midfielder, has some goals for the upcoming conference season she wants to accomplish.
“Our goal for this weekend is to win against Meredith. We are confident that we have the team to beat them this year,” said Barrett. “Our coach keeps telling us that we are a small but mighty team because no one person does everything. This makes us a hard team to scout. I was even told this by one of the coaches we played in Puerto Rico. Overall, we want to win the conference, but beating Meredith is the first step to do that.”
Overall in conference, the team is 3-1 in conference games overall. They defeated N.C. Wesleyan with a 23-0 victory. Then played Southern Virginia for senior day and the team was able to come out on top. The team just has to keep fighting to win the conference this year. They will face conference opponent Pfieffer University on Sat. March 29 next.
