Out of all four seasons, winter gets the worst hate thrown toward it. The sun might not be out all day, and it might not be perfect weather, which is why most people dislike it.
But winter is fun.
The holidays in winter are unbeatable: Christmas, New Year’s, and most importantly, winter break.
Not only is the best holiday of all time in the winter, but sports are in a great state during the cold months. The NFL and NBA are both in full swing, with many NFL games being snow games.
Coming home and starting a nice warm fire during the winter is an atmosphere that can’t be matched. Getting under a warm blanket, drinking some hot chocolate and watching a movie as the calendar year comes to an end is an argument that doesn’t need any more explanation.
What other seasons get snow? None of them. Unless you live in certain areas, fall, spring and summer do not get snow. In Georgia, snow is a treat for many people, especially students. In other states like New York or Illinois, it adds character to the theme of their area. Without winter, how would those cities and their states seem? How would Christmas be without snow?
Even though winter gets cold, it is, without a doubt, the most fun season of the year. Times with family for the holiday, great sports and snow are just the tip of the iceberg for how amazing winter is.
