Niche.com, a website that helps students find their best-fit schools, recently released their rankings of the best colleges in Georgia.
Piedmont was ranked as the 21st-best college in Georgia and selected as the 15th-best value school in the state.
Piedmont ranked below rivals Agnes Scott College and Berry College but placed ahead of Young Harris College, Oglethorpe University, LaGrange College, Covenant College and Wesleyan College.
Piedmont’s Niche report card featured a B- in academics, B+ in diversity, C in the party scene, B- in campus food, B- in athletics, B- in student life, A in safety and B for value.
Berry was ranked B+ in academics and B- in student life. Agnes Scott was ranked B- in academics and B- in student life. Young Harris was ranked C+ in academics and B in student life.
Niche uses data from the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Census, the FBI and student and faculty surveys to determine these grades.
