Piedmont University hosted its 15th annual Pride Walk on Oct. 15, an event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. The walk started at the Commons welcome desk and proceeded to the Quad for festivities, crafts, giveaways and refreshments.
“We need to celebrate everybody…diversity is very important on this campus,” says Cat Wiles, director of student life. “We want everyone to be included, to celebrate everyone’s unique individuality,”
The Campus Activities Board sponsors the Pride Walk, with multiple clubs and organizations participating.
