As the weather gets a little cooler in Northeast Georgia, fall activities begin to pop up everywhere. If you’re looking for something to do in the Habersham County area, you’re in luck.
Oct. 19, the Baldwin Fall Festival will be held at the Baldwin Farmer’s Market, located at 110 Airport Rd, Baldwin, GA 3051. This event is family-friendly, with local food vendors and live music. It will be held from noon to 9 p.m.
With Halloween on the horizon, Habersham cities are beginning to release details on their downtown Halloween celebrations. Trick or Treating activities will be held in Demorest, Clarksville and Cornelia on Oct. 31. Cornelia’s Trick or Treat will be held downtown from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Demorest and Clarksville will be hosting their events on their squares, still no details on the time yet. For more details, visit Habersham County’s Website.
If you are looking for activities to enjoy throughout the entire fall season, Jaemor Farms and Helen, GA have festivities occurring through the month of October.
Jaemor Farms, located in Alto, GA, provides a variety of fall activities. Jaemor’s Harvest Celebration will be going on until the first week in November. This includes a corn maze, hay rides, a pumpkin patch and much more. From Sept. 14 to Oct. 24, Jaemor’s pumpkin patch is open to the public. Wristbands are $20 plus tax Fri-Sun and $17 plus tax Mon-Thu and can be purchased online.
Friday, Oct. 11, Jaemor will host their Night on the Farm event. This event is 21+, and tickets can also be purchased online or in person for $35. Night on the Farm will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and includes Harvest Celebration activities with the addition of a live DJ and u-pick flowers.
Oktoberfest is being held until Oct. 27 in Helen, GA. Helen’s Bavarian-style town has been hosting Oktoberfest for 54 years, and it is the longest running Oktoberfest in the U.S.. There will be live music and a plethora of German food and beverages. The festival is open to all ages, but ID is required for entry.
