This fall season is looking pretty good for gamers as Bandai Namco Entertainment, a popular gaming company since the early 2000’s, releases a trailer for Little Nightmares III.

It’s the game that makes you look so small but feel so big at the same time. Little Nightmares is one of the most popular horror video games which was released in 2017. With its terrifying graphics and gameplay, “Little Nightmares” makes combat almost 4 years later. 

“I have always loved the Little Nightmares Series”, says Jonathan Jackson, a student at Piedmont University, “– I am more than excited for part three to finally come out after all these years.”

Little Nightmares II left players in shocking suspense as one of the characters in the game Mono, also known as The Thin Man, is left with guilt, agony, and the harsh reality of becoming an adult. Mono is soon crafted to look similar to monsters that appeared earlier on in the game. This is one of the secret endings that a gamer can unlock, but it still contributes to the main play of this story.

However, game players may also find it astounding that the third game has no relevance to the previous game. The game now focuses on two new characters that are also a part of the Maw, a universe where Little Nightmares occur. 

Many are left to wonder if the game is based on children’s biggest fears and nightmares, which explains enlarged adults, fearful classrooms, and hideous creatures chasing after the children for no apparent reason. Thus, being the reason why Mono becoming an adult is considered horrendous. How many children are in the Maw and why are they there? 

Little Nightmares III is set to release sometime in 2025, in hopes that it may emancipate in the fall season for fearful and spooky game nights.
