The life of a student-athlete is never easy. As a track athlete and double major in political science and criminal justice, Kai Doyle knows this very well. She’s been running since she was in 5th grade and jumping since she was in high school. Though she loves the 400m, her best event is the triple jump.
The triple jump has 4 crucial phases. The run-up, the hop, the step and the jump. All phases are important for a jumper to excel in their event. Although Doyle has trouble with her phases, and it is not uncommon for her to foul attempts, she is more than capable of greatness. If life is a jump, she is ready to take off.
With marks in the 11s and a conference championship under her belt, she is capable and ready to face adversity, both on and off the track.
