Imagine waking up Saturday morning and getting ready for a Piedmont University football game. Students around the Piedmont campus will be repping up their beloved Piedmont lions and supporting their team with green and gold colors.
Piedmont University could use a football team because I believe it will make an impact on the students and make Piedmont’s campus stand out.
“I think a football team would be a great idea both for student life and campus and financially for the university. I would personally want to be on the team because I have experience in the sport and also because football is the best team sport. Football would bring plenty of coaches, student-athletes, and other staff members to Piedmont which would grow our already close family here at the university,” said Dylan Bodney.
High school students can look into Piedmont University if they want to continue their football career. Piedmont University would have an excellent coaching staff to bring top-rated recruits from throughout the United States. The amount of money and tuition would go up because of the talent Piedmont would bring to campus. In addition, with Piedmont being a safe and great environment, students can grow in leadership and lead others into being a championship team.
The Piedmont University campus would benefit from the ticket sales during game day. All of the money that Piedmont makes during gameday can go toward different Piedmont sports programs to help provide new equipment for the teams. The amount of money being made would help even out the costs it would take to start and maintain a football program.
Overall, Piedmont University can enjoy having a football team on the campus. Students can build relationships with the players and coaches and even get the feeling of being at a college football game. I think everyone would like that experience.
