Piedmont College’s Campus Activity Board hosted their annual Tree Lighting event at the student commons on Nov. 30. There was an arts and crafts station, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa. Along with the activities, Haystack Society sang Christmas carols as the tree was being lit. “We sang traditional christmas carols Silver Bells and O christmas Tree” said, Haystack Society member Jacob McVey. “It was a great gathering. A lot of people showed up and it really put everyone in the christmas spirit.”
