The Piedmont College Athletic Training Department hosted their first ever conference for visiting high school students from Hall, Habersham and Chestatee counties. The conference included a presentation about lower body orthopedic injuries, which focused on the knee, tibia and ankle. They then broke out into sessions that involved question and answer opportunities, ankle wrapping instructions and crutching and carrying procedures. To finish the day, students participated in relay races to show what they had learned.
